I have had mitral valve prolapse all my life. I had an echo done yesterday and she told me that my mitral valve and my tricuspid valve have a small leak. Does anyone know if this is in anyway dangerous. She said not to worry. I thought I just had one valve murmur. Any info would be helpful Thank you. I am new to this board.

A small leak is not considered significant. As one ages there is some calcification and hardening of leaflets. There definitely isn't any immediate danger, but the condition should be watched for any progression in long term and the prolapse accounts for some leakage.
If it becomes moderate to severe regurgatation, the experience will be shortness of breath, muscle fatigue, and less tolerance for exercise.
