I've been googling, trying to find a size of pad that would work better on my neck than the round or square I've been given. They simply won't stay on my neck area well.
Anyone have experience with this?
Thanks, Kim

This is a hard area to keep dry enough for the pads to stick very long. You probably already do this but when my husband was having the same problem we found that it helped.
Befor each treatment, if you stringently remove all body oils and perspiration from the area. Dry it thoroughly, and then quickly place your pads. If you perspire a lot like my husband does, you might try using a fan on low (if it doesn’t bother your neck). Also start out using a fresh set of pads and always rinse your pads immediately after you use them. This should help them stay sticker longer as well.
I know that it is hard to keep the neck free from moisture and oils, but it is not good to use added adhesive. Nothing will work very long when you start perspiring. Hopefully this’ll help some.
Good luck,

i too use the TENS but since the areas i use it most just do not actually perspire anymore due to spinal cord damage, that has never been a problem for me yet.but i just wanted to give you a suggestion that we used to use back when i was still a medic for the electrodes we had to place on sweaty peoples chests for running a heart strip?go to your local drug store or wherever, and just buy a can of some sort of actual antiperspirant, not deodorant,it has to just be plain antiperspirant,i think we used arrid extra dry?but try, after cleaning the area with alcohol, just spray very lightly over the areas that will be used with the electrodes(make sure he covers his face and also don't stand to close to him or you will end up with too much wetness to even work) and let it dry for about a minute or so,then place the electrodes.this may or may not help, but its definitely worth a shot.some people are just very heavy sweaters.believe me,i was really suprised at how well this actually worked on some people.it wont help all but some.give it a try and see what happens.you wont know til you try it.hopefully he will respond to this.good luck and let me know how it goes if you decide to try it.Marcia

:bouncing: I use the dermatrodes also and have problems too. At home I'm ok but I work outside so I have done 2 things; The best is an "ACE BANDAGE" its like a cloth bandage that wraps around where ever on your body and it holds the patches on underneath. 2nd is the fat medical tape you buy at the drugstore, but I am hairy so I dont like that too well.
Good luck..
Good luck..

I've not had too many problems with them sticking as long as you clean the area first with alcohol or soap and water.
A tip my therapist told me to make use of your pads for a longer period of time always store them in the freezer when not in use. I'm not sure why this makes a difference but it does.
Additionally certain types of pads can be rinsed with warm water to remove skin oils which will also make them stick better.
