Have posted before for suggestions for pressure in abdomen. Update is I am getting worse by the day! I have a constant feeling as if I have a tight corset on from my tummy button to my waist with fluttery feelings either side of my abdomen at waist level. I can't lay down at all or the pressure is unbearable and can hardly sleep.
I had lots of blood tests and physical exams two weeks ago and all was normal, appendix,liver , kidneys, full blood count and not anaemic so nothing to cause alarm.
I have seen my Dr every few days and she says it sounds like trapped wind pain and I am taking colpomin plus painkillers and sleeping pills at night.
She says that if it continues then I will have to have colonscopy to rule out any serious bowel issue, Iam awaiting results of occult blood tests. She doesn't think it is anything serious just bad attack of gas trouble. AS I also have serious spinal issues she says my spinal nerves can cause the bowel to be irritated.
If i massage my abdomen then i can get rid of gas!! but otherwise it just rumbles and pops and I have the constant feeling of pressure and knots andflutters.
I am anxious person about health and feel that my Dr should be rushing me off for lots of tests??????
