Ok i need some advice quick. I'm currently on Desogen, and while i like it tons more than ortho tri-cylen lo, i need something that wont make me moody, mad at everything, or cry tons, and perhaps even helps with bad cramps, but most of all my mood. im going to a dr for a new prescription soon and i want to try a better brand of pills.

i love the idea of not taking pills like with the FAM method, but im scared to death of getting pregnant from it. i think i would worry every day if i was doing it.

so anyways, could you let me know which pill works great for lowing the depression factor

All birth control pills have the potential to have depression or mood problems as a side effect. This is because the pill depletes B vitamins and magnesium. I found this out through my own research, not from a doctor. Instead of trying another pill (since you already like the one you're on - Desogen), try taking a B complex vitamin and maybe some magnesium with it. I've had depression from the pill before and then I started taking a B complex with it and I felt alot better. Good luck with whatever you decide. :)
