Hi Hope,
I've read about Raynauds before but chalked it up to being something else as the only symptom I have is redness. They never burn or hurt..my Feet are red too..I don't know maybe with RP or Erythromelalgia can have 1 or a few symptoms?

I have RP and have only a few of the symptoms. I don't mean to scare you but have you had a liver function test. I dated a guy in college who had the same problem and he was an alcoholic. Every ignored his symptoms, I had him get it checked out. The results were not good and sadly he never spoke to me about it again (he had to admit his drinking problem to his folks). By the time we graduated college 3 years later he congratulated me and thanked me, when I looked down I saw his hands were normal again. Liver function can be effected by many things.

Hope4All,
My Mother's (Biological and Step) are dead and I have no Siblings.I don't know of anyone in my Family with this.I always noticed my Step-Mother and Step-Aunt's Hands being red then later noticed mine were in the same area.

I have had this for many years... a doctor told me its called liver palms and said its from drinking too much alcohol.. I rarely drank so knew that wasn't correct for me and I have just lived with it.. never hurts though they are just red.

Nancy,
What would cause Liver Palms if one don't drink much or often?
