Hi all... I have been getting excessive gas for like 6 months now and on top of that I do not get my bowel movements regularily.. I started taking alot of fiber and some natural laxatives.. helps a little.. but something is making me a little nauseated .. think its not going reguarily.. is there something I can do to regulate my bowel movements?

Sounds like Irritable Bowel, I have the same problem. Personally the only thing that helps me is to take an herbal cleanse or a safe laxative like Senekot several times a week. I haven't found anything that has helped me naturally to go to the bathroom that doesn't involve a pill. But the dr. did put me on Zelnorm, which may be able to help you. I only take that occasionally but it works. Good Luck, I know what an awful feeling that is.

It can, but I usually take it at night before bed so when I wake up I have to go. Most fiber or laxatives cause you to cramp, which is not a great side effect, but it works, really well. Or you could try a stool softener, that may help without cramping, but in my case I need the senna to stimulate the bowel to move. But it defintely helps. I will say that the best product I've ever found is called Super Cleanse, you can get it at any health food/vitamin store or GNC. Its a blend of herbs and its all natural. Good Luck!!

It definitely makes you nauseaus because #1 your bowels are so full, so you may not feel hungry, plus all the toxins that are supposed to be expelled are still in your body, so that can make you nauseous and give you headaches and such.

I had the problem last September. Someone recommended a Probiotic and it worked. I'm taking NSI Probiotic 15-35. I take two capsules each morning after breakfast.
