I want to say a HUGE,HUGE HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who was there for me when my dad went into the hospital. After he went in, my mom followed suit about 3 days later.
Her Dx was basically stress and the flu, and honestly, theY never really gave her one...BUT she and my dad both got to return home today, and have my sister and brother caring for them, and I will arrive Wed. for as long as need be.
Come to find out, my father is only on a small dose of methadone at bedtime! What a huge change! They did an echo, and a ton more tests for his water retention, and didnt see anything serious enough to warrant him staying any longer. He was treated for his retention the first nite, and it went away the second day. Im sorry to be so vauge, and Im sure there are a lot of things that Im not privvy to, as my sister said just to get home, and not worry, and we would go over everything.
I want all of you to know, that you all have been more than I could ask as far as support, love, and kindness. I only found this board a few short weeks ago, and your constant care and supprt have been mind-blowing.
I love you all, and know that if I ever need anything, I can count on you.
Again, thank you for the support, and I will be sure to update you as soon as possibe.
This is my son, age 10's spring break this week, and now that I am home from my work from ut of the country, I can take him with me home to see family.
Thank you all...You are so dear to my heart~
Luv all of you~

HEY IZZY!!

So good to hear that Dad is better! It must have been a heck of a time with both Mom and dad ending up in the hospital.. whew! HAppy to hear both are home again. There is no place like home, huh?

Glad to hear also that his methadone is at bedtime only now. He must be a heck of a man to bring his own self down on the meds. I hope he is not having pain now. Hmprh! I think you must have some of his determination genes in you. HAHA!

Enjoy the time with your little guy and your folks. Think you all need some down time now to enjoy one another.

Hugs
