I just posted a question about the mirena- I had mine inserted on January 31st this year and for the first week it was fine, then for the next 3 weeks I had bleeding. The dr prescribed primolut to stop the bleeding, but I think its making me depressed and irritable, so I stopped taking it 2 days ago. I guess i'm waiting to see what happens now- i suppose the bleeding will start again. I'm not sure whether to just have the stupid mirena taken out. It sounded such a great idea when the doctor told me about it. I had been taking the pill for years and think it was the main cause of having no libido ,which made sex feel like a chore. In between going off the pill and getting the mirena, I felt like a normal person, but now the mirenas causing problems anyway.
