Is it true that if you take nyquil or dayquil it makes your birth control pill ineffective?

I have never heard that about OTC meds. The only OTC medication you are supposed to avoid on the pill is St. John's wort. And you should use backup protection if you are on antibiotics as that could affect the pill, but dayquil/nyquil should be just fine.
