When I'm bulking do I want to just take a supplement that contains protein and has around 220 calories or should I take a weight gainer that contains aroun 1100 calories and same amount of protein. Opinions?????

Are you a hard gainer? Are you not getting enough calories/protein from your regular diet?

I try to take in a whole lot of calories when i'm bulking because I tend to eat foods that don't contain a lot. I know that I get the right amount of protein, I pretty much keep track of that but I was just wondering if I could take a weightgainer to help improve my bulk. I"m a pretty big gainer.

Big gainer? So long as you don't rely on shakes as you primary caloric/protein source, go for it. If you can, get it from real food though. More complete nutrition and generally better for health. Only use supplements to supplement... if you need to.
