I recently had blood work done for my annual physical. My blood work came
back showing high liver enzymes. Doc had me take and ultrasound for internal organs, mostly liver, kidney's & gallblatter. The ultrasound test results are fine. Doc wants me to re-do my bloodwork to check the following: Hep B & C, ALT, AST, LFT, LHT, LGT, BILIRUBIN, BLOOD FILM, HEMOGLOBIN, GAMMA, ETC.
My question is how long should I abstain from alcohol. My doctor said two weeks, co-workers say one week. internet says 1 - 4 weeks. Anyone know for sure. I really want to have these tests done, but want to make sure I have a clean test result.
Thank you,
