What exactly is Glutamine and what is it good for? Should I cut with it or bulk with it?

Well, its sposed to stop lactic acid breakin down so much muscle after excersize, i got some aaaages ago an aint really bothered with it. Savin it till i decide im gonna do a bulkin stage. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
The pack i got sez :
Glutamine is important in anabolic processes and cell volumization. It is the most abundant amino acid in muscle tissue and carries the amino groups essential for re-growth and repair of all tissues. Glutamine levels are depleted during excersize and supplementation may prevent excess muscle breakdown
In short, i guess it means it stops all the hard work u do goin down the drain a bit by helpin u get more mass for ur work. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

in short it helps with recovery. It is actually a very good thing to be taking when cutting, as it will help to preserve your muscle mass. Glutamine is not nessesarily a supplement that you will 'feel' working, although some people wont feel as sore the next day. For most people it is much the same as a vitamin, you cant feel it, but you know its doing good things.

Hmmm, like i sed, i was savin it for until i wanna bulk up.... i dont need cuttin at all, im naturally toned. So would it be any good for bulkin or shud i jus throw it out instead of havin it take up room on my shelf?

It is also a very good thing to take while bulking. It will speed up recovery.

It is also good for cutting (if you're not going for ketosis) as it helps prevent muscle loss. Also, it's helpful to take with the traditional C and Zinc (and echinacea) to kill a cold before it gets you or to help lose it faster.
