I was just wondering if anyone knows what causes too much protein in Urine? This guy I'm seeing had to take a urine sample in order to get a life ins. policy, and they took 3 samples and the nurse said the numbers were too high and he should see his Dr. Something about the protein. So he went to the Dr.and they took blood and said everything looked good, then he had to do a 24 hr. urine catch and take that to the lab. He's 62 yrs. old, very active and feels great. (Except now he's worried about this test, and complains of being tired, which I think is because of the worry). He took the sample to the lab this last Monday and he doesn't see the Dr for another week and a half, so he's going crazy. Just wondered if anyone would know anything about this.
Thanks in advance!

No, they haven't done any scans. He's waiting to see what the Dr. says when he goes to find out about his blood test and the urine sample. Hopefully since they haven't called him to come in early for his appt. everything is ok.
