Ok, it is 4:43 am and I am still awake. Can someone be manic and so totally depressed at the same time? I am so tired and sleepy but I CANNOT go to sleep. I can't get comfortable/still for a moments time. I have a waterbed which is making things 100times worse, I hate it.

I can not get my dr to do a D*** thing for me, and the hospitals don't want you if you don't have insurance:rolleyes: . My new insurance won't be in effect until April 1...but I am sooo tired of feeling this way.

The pdoc my GP referred me to called and said without insurance, they wont see me. I told them I would pay cash, and they don't accept cash:rolleyes: .

So what now? The hospital don't want me. My GP won't put me on the meds I need, and the pdoc will not accept cash. I am so tired of all this......how am I supposed to get help, if no one wants to help me??

This Sux:mad:

Have a Good Day Everyone:)

you need to find a new doc asap. even if you have to go thru the phone book. Sleep is so important for you right now. Call that awful drs office back and ask them to recommend a doc for you. sometimes that gets them moving. half the time the people answering the phone dont even get the messege to the doctor. Keep at it!

Hello Bama,

To answer your first question, yes...that is a mixed episode--you can be depressed and have the agitation of hypomania.

I would suggest you look online for NAMI and call the location that is closest to you. If you aren't familiar with NAMI, it is a national organization that has state and local chapters all over the country. I checked and there are at least 15 in Alabama. They provide educational programs, support and are an excellent resource for referrals. Give them a call, tell them you're looking for information and explain your situation.

I can't imagine a doc that won't take cash.

Hope you're sleeping now...
Take care,
Tsohl
