I'm only on my 4th day of Yasmin (yes, I am new to it), and while I am experiencing light headaches at night (pretty bearable, it's just sort of irritating, and I try and sleep it off when it starts to annoy me-and my face feels pretty hot compared to the rest of my body), irregular sleep and now my legs and feet are swollen.
I'm kinda scared cuz I don't know if this goes into the category of ACHES :(

I'm sure that's for really severe pain, not just minor irritation(my legs do sometimes swell during my period), but this leg swelling is kinda discomforting and I am a bit scared. I also had a slight shortness of breath and chest discomfort (I felt like it was tight) too a couple of days ago, but I got out of my stuffy room and took a walk, and that did seem to make it a bit better.

I am a little anxious about the BC and its effect on me, I really try and keep an eye on my body, but I don't know if I'm being too paranoid and if I should just shake it off and let it be or if I should really seek medical help for this. (But I'm a little hesitant to go b/c I've been on it less than a week!)

And is it ok for me to take aspirin for my headaches? I think I read somewhere that women who take aspirin regularly should talk to their doctor, and if these headaches don't go away, I might be a frequent user :(

HELP!

I would strongly suggest you give a call to the doctor's office who prescribed this pill to you and talk to them about the chest tightness, shortness of breath, the issues with swelling in your legs and the headaches. Just print off the post you wrote and call your doctor to see what he or she recommends.

Chest tightness and shortness of breath is a very common side effect of many, many medications and one that shouldn't be ignored. The aspirin questions should be addressed by your doctor, too, since aspirin can have a very bad effect on folks with stomach/GI troubles.

I wouldn't wait on this.
