Max1113 04-01-2007, 02:22 PM Surely the physician who did the Barrett's diagnosis would know about surgical options (there are some). Ask! chikkie14 04-01-2007, 11:19 PM I have hiatal hernia and I have tons of bloating.. sometimes I feel like the food is still sitting in my tummy hours after having my meals. I also have chest pains.. in the center but most of the time its on the left part of my breast bone.. diffuculty breathing, headaches and neck and back pains... going nine months now and I am still suffering.. :( mkgbrook 04-02-2007, 09:20 AM My husband's hiadal hernia caused a ring structure to develop on his esphogus. This made it increasingly hard to swallow anything with out him aspirating it and choking. He had his outpatient surgery... back int 2003 and hasn't had a problem other than continued reflux since. Sincerely, MG |
