I want a foundation that doesn't cause break outs, is easy to apply, isn't caked on, and covers acne scars, and completely gives you an even skin tone, if it could also cover up fine lines and not make them look worse, that'd be excellent too. If anybody could give me any advice/suggestions, it'd be greatly appreciated, thanks!

try Cover Girl Simply Powder foundation! It's AWESOME!! It goes on just like powder, but it covers 100% just like a liquid foundation! And it won't clog pores either...believe me I always get my share of zits and I haven't had any problem with blemishes while using this!:)

If the uneven skintone is cause by redness, give physicians formula green concealers or powders a try. You wear a lot less to cover the redness. I take the concealor stick in the tube and feather it onto a foundation brush and then go over my red areas. Its all I would need besides a regular powder if I just didnt have breakouts or red acne scars, but its also great for them too. Some people have said they think it actually made their skin green (even if using it underneath regular powder or foundation?!?), but I have pale skin and could only ever tell of it being green if I put way too much on, and like I said you dont need a lot.

i use Make Up forever. Its a make-up artist brand so is harder to find but i am so amazed by their "lift" foundation. its about 60$ a bottle (lasts for 2-3months with every day use). its a lift foundation b/c its designed to cover fine lines for of mature skin (although i am only 23).
i choose this one because it smells great, not make-up-y, not perfumey. i break out a lot, but this never causes breakouts (unless i work out with it!) .
its great because it doesn't go orange or grey by the end of the day as i've noticed more cheaper brands do. in fact, i slept with mine on last night (that i put on at 8 am yesterday morning)...if i had to leave my house without washing my face the foundation would still look perfect.
it covers evenly when i use it (i do not use concealer) and if i have a blemish i apply lots of foundation to it (and it doesn't look cakey or grey). this is one thing i lke about it too...you can do layer upon layer and it will not look different from areas where you have only a light layer.
everyone whom i've got to try this will not go back to their previous brands.
