Hi, I am 26 yrs old, i have pcos, miracly i had a baby 12 weeks ago but had to have a d&c due to retained placenta... i blead for 3 weeks on and off in total!!

i have gotton my first period now after 12 weeks of having my baby, Last week i started having a little pink discharge now and then along with the period type pain, i started bleeding yesterday not heavy which im thankfull for but lastnight i started getting shooting pains on my left side, and all day today now and again it wil happen, its freaking me out... the thing is when i started to have the period type cramps and pink discharge lastweek i took myself to a&e to get checked, they took my bloods and examined me and told me i was starting my period.. would they have seen anything in the bloods that could suggest an ovarian cyst? (i had a huge one removed 10 yrs ago)also i have pcos,i have a gyni appointment in 10 days to discuss treatment about something (mesage left on my answerphone).. but at the moment im pretty scared these shooting pains are horrible every say 10 mins lasting 2 seconds.. what could this be? i feel a pain in the but having to take myself bk to the hospital..

any advice much appreicated.. thankyou
