I have posted a similar thread on another board but will check with this one, and see what others think. I am a thin person as I have lost a ton of weight in last 3 years. When lying down, there is a very pronounced ridge like structure which feels like it could be a ligament on the left side. However there is nothing on the exact same place on the other side. It feels quite rough at times, almost like it has little nodes.
If I tap my fingers on this area it is a very dull thud, not like the opposite side where it gives a hollow sound. It is not painful at all, but it seems a little pronounced to just let slide without further investigation. I had a doc check it (very quickly) but they didn't seem to concerned over it, saying it was a ligament. Any others with similar things? I probably wouldn't notice it as much if I had more weight on like before.
Thanks
