Hi,

I have been having some numbness and tingling and a cold feeling in my L foot and toes which are getting worse - - and also have bad problems in L arm/hand, which I understand are from my severe stenosis in c5-6. I assumed that the foot symptoms were from a lower back problem and was going to ask my dr. for a lumbar MRI. However, after looking at some posts, I am wondering if the foot symptoms can be due to the c5-6 stenosis and not necessarily a low back problem. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Lisa

I get the same stuff - intermittent numbness/tingling in the feet. Cold feeling inside the feet/toes. (also in the legs, parts of the back, arms etc. as well).

I've had lumbar and thoracic scans which show no problems. Have a narrow cervical canal and herniated/bulging c5/c6 disc. I can trace the onset of these symptoms back to shortly after a bad neck injury. They've been getting worse over time.

I also had the stenosis. I got so bad that my legs started getting weak and giving out on me. I was afraid of falling everytime I had to walk any kind of distance. After surgery I was amazed at how I could walk around without feeling like I might fall down.
