My son has been very sick for a while now. He has not been able to get hardly any food or drink down. He says that he almost chokes trying to get anything down. And that he has a full feeling like he just ate a good meal and burning and nausea too. He has lost weight and has been very weak. His body has been dehydrating also. Could anyone tell me about this? Thank you so much and have a wonderful, blessed day. Glynda Hood

your son needs to see a doctor asap!! I don't mean to alarm you but this is serious especially since he is losing weight from not eating. I sympathize with him as i know his esophagus must be on fire which is from the acid. the acid will also affect his throat and can damage the throat as well. There are a few things that could be causing his problems but none that will get solved without seeing a doctor. His condition will not improve by letting it go.

Oh my gosh, get the child to a Dr. and NOW!!!!! That said, my daughter has acid reflux and her symptoms mimic his. There are several things you can do for it and she takes one small Prevacid pill a day now and it's handled. But please, don't do the boards, get him to the doctor and FAST!!
