My internal med doctor told me I had Raynauds because of the tingling and numbness. He did not think that the anemia was the cause. I now know that my saturation level was 5% and that the tingling, numbness and bleeding sores on my fingers was related to my anemia and lack of oxygen. My hematologist said that after the iron infusions the symptoms should go away.

There are so many symptoms related to anemia and now that I know that is what I have it explains a lot of things that were happening to me. Besides, being tired, lightheaded and having a foggy brain, when I went to bed at night I felt like I needed to kick and move my legs before I could rest. They just felt like they needed to move. Now, since I have been receiving iron infusions that has stopped. Not everyone has the same symptoms with anemia. Take care.
