well, i just got a blood test done for a physical and doctors called back and said my rudubellin (spelled wrong but hopefully u know what i'm talkin about) is elevated, and my white blood count is low. I'm going back this week to test for hep a, b, and c.

this is kinda shocking to me, because i'm usually fussy about sharing a drink with somebody, and i am a virgin, don't drink, do drugs, or have any tattoos, which count for nearly all ways it is spread!

I had a blood test taken 2 years ago, and nothing was said about anything abnormal, I gave blood last year, if anything was caught in the screening, they would tell the donater right?

I guess my biggest question is that something is wrong, and all the fingers are pointing towards hep, but is there any other reason why my rudibellin is high, and white count low, thanks for listening

It is your bilirubin. Did they check your liver enzymes? There could be a lot of reasons for an elevated bilirubin and low WBC.

Also, hep A could be caused by contaminated food (especially seafood).

yes, thats the stuff, i don't think they told me anything about the enzymes, but i take a test for hep a, b, and c tomorrow. I'm hoping its something else that is causing this, thanks for the reply!

Do you have any piercings? Piercings (Even in clean shop settings) have been known to spread multiple blood-borne viruses/diseases.

If you do, and you happen to test positive, that may be the culprit!

Good luck, hang in there and let us know how things go!

Take care!

Mike.
