Well, Let me start off I had a discectomy 6 weeks ago, Developed Neuropathy in my right leg. (Burning and hypersensitivity in the leg can't touch it) Ok here we go.
I was complaining to the wife that the sheets we have hurt my leg and wakes me up. I suggested to go to the mall (never did that before) and walk (snowed out) and I will check the bed sheet things to see if they hurt my leg.
So the wife after having a heart attack for having me suggest to go to the mall agreed. So I go to a store that begins with Bo.... My wife directs me to the bedding stuff and I try rubbing the sheets against my bad leg. (By the way flannel won) Well the lady that runs the bedding area gave me a look like I was nuts. If you could have seen her face, It was priceless. Even checking out, she looked at me like I was insane. That was funny. The Mrs. was embarrassed. I guess I should have told her? Na. But the most important thing. I had a good nice sleep.

picnica, that is priceless! I might have to go get the flannels now, don't thing I'll try them out first though. So the flannels don't hurt your leg at all? I've been wearing shorts and keeping that leg out from under any cover. Usta:wave:

2 days and I slept through the night. Well, got up when the baby crawled in. She is a bed hopper. But I feel good with 2 nights of sleep under my belt. No leg pain in the morning either. The fleece was also comfortable but my wife didn't like the colors. They were ugly, even a color challenged man could see it. I also bought a body pillow, that is also helpful.

Hey Pic,
I'll betcha they kept their eye on you the rest of the night.:D

I was wondering about this , When I awoke from surgery my foot was on fire , my wife grabbed my foot and it hurt worse , NOW my foot /leg/hip and back hurt , and my foot burns some but turned more into a crushed feeling but it doesn't hurt to the touch.. Why is that ? Do I have Neuropathy or is it somthing different..I know I have nerve damage but not sure what they call it.

Thanks a bunch ,hope ya get a restful night sleep :)

That is just the best. I work in the mall and we see so much. I would have loved to be there and see the clerks face. She probably thought you had lost it. I bet she shared that story with all her mall buddies. You may not realize but I bet you made everyone smile even after you were home snuggled in the flannel sheets.

Thanks for sharing made me smile

Hope you have a wonderful day.

Sorry it has been some time Shawley, I have been working allot. You know I think, it is some form. Neuropathy is a broad term. Any damage to the nerve you seem to get it. I think you are at about my stage. I am noticing that when storms come, it slightly increases. I am down to shooting pain, when I sleep at night.
