So I started Yaz a couple months ago, and its making me crazy...not mentally crazy, but emotionally, I'm getting mad at my boyfriend for the simplest things, I'm kinda an emotional wreck. I talked to him today and he confirmed that I wasn't this crazy before I started the pill....that I am kinda nuts now with it.

Has anyone switched to NUva ring? Are there any major side effects from switching pills? I mean, did you get your side effects again as if you just started taking it for the first time? Or were there not any side effects at all from switching? I'm triyng not to be confusing here. Sorry if it sounds confusing.

Also, how about acne? If your BC made your acne better, did nuvaring make it better, worse or no effect at all?

Thanks.

Hi
I don't know about NuvaRing but I was also on Yaz for about 8 months and it was awful!!! I was on ortho tri cylen for years with no problem. You might want to look at that pill. Good luck!

Well, I wanted to try nuvaring because I'm tired of remembering a pill. I'm looking for something I don't take every day.

I've done the nuvaring before and all I noticed with it was an increase in headaches. But it has been a long time since I tried it. There may have been other s/e I can't remember. I know the pill makes me CRAZY and depressed.

I have tried a good number of pills including yaz. I've also had depo shots, diaphrams, etc. So I have tried it all. I had everything from spotting every day or crying all the time to instant weight gain from the pills. I love the NuvaRing. The only problem I have is breakouts, but I have learned how to keep it to a minimum. Most people say the ring clears the skin. Only other thing is that is has a higher co-pay with no generic. It's worth it to me though. Hope it works for you!

I switched over from Depo to the NuvaRing and I have noticed that I get headaches alot more, but that's about it. My period now is like clockwork and it's also very light.
