i am curious if skipped beats are more common (or more noticeable) with those with lower pulse rates? my pulse is high 50s to low 60s and i wonder if that makes the skips more frequent/noticeable

CTYankee 03-19-2007, 05:51 AM I never noticed any skips prior to taking meds that brought my rate to the mid 40's to low 50's. Now I notice them every morning. Leela_C 03-19-2007, 12:43 PM i am curious if skipped beats are more common (or more noticeable) with those with lower pulse rates? my pulse is high 50s to low 60s and i wonder if that makes the skips more frequent/noticeable I notice the skips a lot more now that my pulse is slower. My heart rate used to be very fast and I never noticed the skips. Now my pulse rate is in the 50s most of the day and I feel skips all the time. Are you on medication that makes your pulse rate so slow? I'm not and I hate having a heart rate that slow. All my docs say I'm fine and to not worry about it, but I hate it! iwanttobefree 03-19-2007, 02:40 PM no it is naturally that low for me |
