Does anyone get strange feelings in their head from acid? To me it feels like acid on the brain, but sure there is a different explanation. I also get pains in my arms nowadays and constant aches and pains all over! Not nice, but i guess we have to live with the symptons.

superchef you described how I am feeling exactly! It feels as though the acid is swarming up in my brain as well. although I know its far from it... my idea is its the brain stem (the throat, ear, nasal part) that is also irritated because of LPR.. doyou have pain in your ear and throat as well as the back of your nose? I do. And do you feel sleepy so sleepy like you cannot stop yourself from falling a sleep in the weird hours of the day? It feels scary.

My eyesight is also faulty and I am having trouble comprehending.. I feel so lethargic all the time1 specially last night my ear pain is so bad. I also having trouble sleeping... I keep on waking up palpitating and its like I stopped breating. I am on PPI 2 times a day. Hope our symtoms improved soon :dizzy:

Hi superchef.. so how are u doing? Im pretty much the same... I findit hard tokeep my eyes open even when walking.. I ma like a blind person being lead by my husband when we walk out! My ear pressure is also bad... but wait.. do you also experience being easily confused? like your having a hard time comprehending? sometimes I feel disoriented... and worst is the anxiety :dizzy:

chikkie - i would look into the side effects of the ppi - that could be causing the dizziness and fatigue. i had severe anxiety on nexium and prevacid. aciphex gave me migraines and extreme fatigue.

yeah read that PPI causes this... but I have been taking PPI for 3 months now and Ive never felt this worse... im so drowsy all the time :dizzy: sometimes I feel like Ihave no control of my body or muscles... do u think my brain is not getting enough oxygen?

Im still getting the same feelings. Gawd knows what is causing them :dizzy:

When my GI upped my nexium to 2/day I had really wierd head problems; very woozy also very anxious and disassociated...who knows

chikkie, can you stop the ppi's for awhile and see if your symptoms go away? the thought may be scary, but maybe you could try it and see how you feel.

Actually I did stop it for a day yesterday and today I woke up almost normal! exept for a bloated tummy that is... anyways I dontknow if its because I stopped the PPIS or because of the new meds my GP prescribed.. I went to see my GP since my GI doesnt seem to do anything about it... well the GP prescribed me a phlegm and swelling medicine since she suspects its my throat and sinuses, and now I feel quite better.. actually a lot better than the other days.. I dontknow though which is responsible :)
