For those of you that have palpations/arrythmia what brand antihistamine do you use? All I've tried makes arrythmia worse, especially the non drowsy formulas. Thanks for your help!

I have had SVTs for 19 years and I take a daily lortadine(Claritan) for allergies. Been on it for many years and lately it seems that I need something stronger. I get samples of Zyrtec when I see my GP, because of course insurance won't pay for it since they want you to use the generic lortadine.
Just stay away from anything with a D at the end for decongestant. They will make your heart rate speed up and raise your blood pressure.

Thanks! I'll try Claritin.

I wouldn't waste the money on the Brand name. Just by the store brand Lortadine. Most drugstores, target, and wal-mart make their own brand name and its all the same stuff but cheaper.
