Hello everybody, thank-you so much for reading this.

I have a quick question about wrist and shoulder pain I have. I weight train about 5 times per week, but I type on a keyboard 7 days a week, for the better part of the day.

When I weight train, and I'm lifting up a weight (lets say I'd be lifting up a 45 pound plate on the barbell) and I lift it up sideways with the inner part of my arm facing up, I get sharp stabbing pain right below my forearm, and I have to help it with my other arm otherwise I drop the weight.

Also, lifting weights over my head (for instance doing dumbbell presses sitting upright) gives me pain in the upper, top part of my right shoulder next to my traps, only on the bone part a little farther towards the shoulder. It feels like it's gonna pop, it it needs to me manipulated until it pops.

Thank you so much for any responses. Does this sound like Carpal Tunnel?

Hi --- In my case the shoulder pain is from an impinged rotator cuff from lifting 50# overhead for years and the wrist and hand pain is from my cervical spine. I have been tested for all, EMG:S< MRI"S and that's the dx from 3 different Dr.s. all have outruled CTS. Have you seen a Dr? I will be having my shoulder fixed the end of the month but the shoulder surgeon told me the wrist and hand pain will probably not go away as it is coming from my neck. Best of luck!
