View Full Version : Asthma as a passing thing?

I went to 2 diff docs and they both feel I have astha aggravated by my last fever/cough that I got slammed with.

I have Flovent HFA for every day twice a day for a couple months and I have Albuterol as needed.

I guess they both are hoping this will take care of it for me or at least get it dormant. I wish for warm, dry weather. Every time the cold wind hits my throat and chest I feel very chilled and wheezy.

Anyone ever have asthma this way?

Yeah, mine kind of comes and goes. I had asthma really badly in college. It went away after about a year and I didn't have any real problems with it until a few years ago. I'm in my forties now. Mine seems to be seasonal...in the spring I get on Singulair and Advair. I can wean off of it in the summer most of time because it is better (and yet not allergic to anything in particular).

Good luck with it.

I feel better but I have to say the Flovent doesn't taste very good and last nite I took it too close to bed and didn't sleep well.

I hope I can just kick this and not have to deal with it very much again.

Thanks.
