Good Morning Everyone

I am still suffering alot. I have had constant pain in my stomach since January. I am still waiting to see a specialist. I am taking losec 40mg a day and domperidone 40 mg a day and it does not seem to be doing much good. I am going to my family dr today and ask him if I can see another specialist because the one I have seen before I have to wait until the end of April for an appointment. I find if I do not eat the symptoms are somewhat better. I am still having pain and difficulty swallowing and losing weight.
I am so glad there are these message boards.

Christine,
Have you had any tests so far and what did they show? What kinds of food if any can you eat?

Hi

The foods that I eat that I can tolerate the most are white toast, plain crackers, jello, water and gingerale. I am waiting to get an endoscopy. I have had a barium swallow showing that my reflux is moderate an x-ray that was normal, a ultrasound of my abdomen that was normal and I am having a cat scan of my abdomen on this Sunday. I have also had blood work done that is normal. I have been on alot of prednisone for breathing problems due to asthma that has also affected my stomach.

Wish I had more to offer you but it sounds like your doctors are ordering the right tests. I hope they find something and can fix if for you. Good luck, keep us updated on how you are doing.
