I'm getting worse and worse. At the moment, I'm taking Nexium 40mg once a day, Tazac 150mg twice a day. Mylanta at bed. I'm still having a lot of heart burn and acid in my mouth. Now my teeth are going to fall apart! Other than that I'm very nausea, headache and tired. My mouth always like a chilli sit on my tongue! My heart looks like many ants bite!

Could someone tell me, am I having too much acid or not enough acid? I asked this question million of time and non of the doctor answer me is too much or not enough! Where are all those acid come from? Why so much? My stomach mulfunction? I took the wrong food?

Help! Help! Help! Please!

What is your diet like? What kinds of tests have you had done and what have they shown?

DIET! Big mess, Diabetes Dr said no more McDonald! Gastro Dr said I need to eat red meat at least 2-3 times a week because I'm anemia. No sugary food because of diabetes. No red meat because I had high cholesterol! I can eat a lot of salty food only because my BP and kidneys are still in good condition! I feel very nausea and stomach pain so I can fast every day and night without a problem! The burns and stomach upset would kill me that's all.

Many many blood test. Showed anemia only. Gastroscopy x 2 (one normal, one minor reflux oesophagitis; Colonoscopy x 1 (very normal).

Thanks for answering my post!

With all your problems you need to find one doctor to take in account all your different problems. Maybe they can refer you to a special dietician. My guess it your reflux problems are mostly from your diet and you need to get that figured out. You need to cut out the fatty, spicy, tomato based foods, and caffeine. You need to get some exercise which may do wonders. I know a lot of this diet doesn't take in account your anemia but there must be something besides red meat that can help with that although not all red meat is that fatty.

I need many many of strong coffee to open up the chest tightness. Cardio said it could use strong coffee to do that. Also was given at the stress test with a strong cup of coffee and asked me go home drank a lot of that. Next day on the scan, they said my heart was much more better!

I didn't eat fatty, spicy, tomato based foods very often. May be once per 3 months. I need and I walk a lot if I can. I'm still walk and do a lot of shopping while I look like walking in the space ship. I attend TaiChi class too. So far I haven't hit by a car yet but I've knocked down a lot of things. :dizzy:

Would reflux or heart burn cause dizziness? I can't tolerate it anymore! Am I having too much acid or not enough acid?

Appreciate your reply.

Pika it is so hard to say with you. You have so many things going on that it could be many things or current meds you are on. I haven't had any dizziness but I think I may have read other might (not sure about that though). You really need to find a good doctor who can put this all together for you. If your current one can't, find a new one.

You can do a self-test to see if you have too little acid or too much. Try a bit of organic apple cider vinegar. If you feel better, talk to your doctor about acid levels being too low. If you feel worse, maybe too much acid is your problem.
I have an appt with a doctor who deals with exactly this issue...in the meantime, I've been able to stop all prescription and over-the-counter acid meds and just drink a little ACV at meal times. I do not have any trouble with GERD or LPR symptoms anymore. My GI doc agreed that I probably don't make enough acid but didn't tell me how to fix it. That's why I'm seeing another doctor.

GERD and acid do not cause dizziness but diabetes sure does. If it is too high or too low, you can get very dizzy. Your diabetic condition is the most important right now. Get to a doctor to see if you need shots or just medication. NO SUGAR! or you will get kidney disease and eye problems.
There are many sugar free products that are very good. After the diabetes settles down, get your acid reflux checked out. You will need an endo.
Avoid spicy foods, tomatoes, juices, anything that makes your heartburn worse. Walking and exercising is very good but I don't see it making much a difference to your body right now. You need medication for both diabetes and reflex. The chest tightness is also from the reflux. Sounds like you have it bad. Take our advice and start taking care of yourself. Good Luck

Thanks everyone so kind and gave me some ideas and advise.

After the iron infusion, my blood glucose dropped to 4.5 which I haven't take any minidiab for 3 days before that. Tomorrow is a week after infusion. I'm still didn't take any minidiab. Would the iron infusion can correct the diabetes too?

This morning the burp keeps bringing up the food. I looked at the website. It said Tazac can bring side effect of light headed and SOB! Why the Doctor gave me such a horrible med! Make me to sleep more? My heart is going to sleep soon and I need boosters to wake it up. Make me walk on the spaceship! I'm really have a burst of my tears, why put me in such a hard time? I'm in making my own decision, should I continue to take the med or not? Anyway it is not working!

I wasn't braved enough to try the apple cider vinegar. I saw so many posts here mentioned it. It is good! I think I'm taking too much medicines (chemical bullets/bombs). I should stop all the med and start trying the apple cider vinegar! I think I got not enough acid now!

Pika, check out the following thread on this board (Acid Reflux Board): "Cured my reflux...after 12 months of trying."

I don't have diabetes but do have reflux and colitis and have been searching for a diet which will help ease the discomfort. October 7 (the poster) refers to the SCD diet which sounds good to me and I am going to try it. Makes sense to me that my diet affects my digestive system even though my gastro doctor tells me that diet will not help and gives me pills instead. :(

You and your doctor will have to make the decision on whether you can tolerate the diet and whether it may work for you. Good luck!!

You may be acidic. Talk to a naturpathic docter and do a saliva and urine pH balance testing!

I am acidic and I was told to drink lots of alkaline drinks
