hello. I was diagnosed with LPR about 2 years ago and have been taking Nexium 1/day ever since. For the most part, I feel good since I have been on the medicine. When I was first diagnosed, I had an endoscope exam which showed damage to my esophogus. I just had my follow up endoscop yesterday and the doctor said that my esophogus looked good, but my stomach was inflammed. He said he took some samples from my stomach and also my small intestine. He will call me within a week to give me results.

I am freaking out about this inflammation! What could it be??? I have no stomach symtoms at all. I have a good apetite, no bloating or pain, regular bowels, etc.... I was still a little woozy when he was talking to me so of course I didnt ask any quesitons, but now I wish I had. I am so nervous!!

Does anyone have any info on what could be going on??

Well, I had that, and as I understand it: inflammation is exactly that! Inflammation. If more severe it is gastritis or tiny erosions (I have both)
