I have noticed that there are a couple of people who are having similar symptoms to mine. I started having abdominal cramps about 3 months ago with watery stools. I mean cramps so bad I had to sit down when they came. Then the diareha went away and I was left with pain in my right side about even with my belly button (sometimes a little higher) that I sometimes feel all the way around to my mid back, kind of like the kidney area. It sometimes, although rarely is felt on my left side. The Dr. sent me for a pelvic ct scan that came back normal except for an enlarged lymph node in my right groin. All bloodwork came back normal. Then I went for an ultrasound of my gallbladder. Several stones were found, but no inflammation. I feel that my pain is too low to be my gallbladder. Then there's the lymph node, which may be just a coincidence, I don't know. I saw a GI specialist yesterday and he says he is thinking chron's. Maybe a chronic thing with my appendix. But he says he still thinks chron's. I will have to have my gallbladder out either way he says. he said if I do have chron's it is probably the cause of the gallbladder problems. I don' think that the gallbladder is the root of all my problems because my pain is lower and occasionally felt on the left. I do have bad gas also. anybody have anything to add? I go for a colonoscopy on April 11th, but I am just curious about what you guys think. Does it sound like chron's or has anybody else had these problems with the gallbladder?

I wanted to add that I was put on antibiotics, then the pain and all other sypmtoms disappeared. Then about 2 weeks later they were back. They gave me another round of antibiotics, same thing. Disappeared. That's were I'm at now. My symptoms are back and getting worse after getting off the antibiotics. Is this consistant with Chron's? Are the lymph nodes? Is there anyhing else that you know of that would cause this?

Not a doctor, but perhaps it's IBS.

Thoroughly review the IBS board at this site to see what you think.

Sorry you are going through this.

My husband had similar problems but the pain was on his left side and he was dx with diverticulosis.
