Hello, I am 26 and have noticed that my skin is losing that smooth look. How can I get it back! What product or service can I buy ti get it back! Thanks! Kc

Right now, I'm having peels done so that is keeping my skin smooth. In the past I had microdermabrasions done and that helped my skin immensely. I also used Dr. Brant's microdermabrasion in a jar, which worked great.

Exfoliate! I use very fine sugar (Bakers Sugar) to exfoliate and do that every other day. I use the product, from DHC, called Deep Cleansing Oil. It has Olive Oil which is the best! It's not greasy. I put the deep cleansing oil on and rub, then put the sugar on over the oil (this holds the sugar) and exfoliate. Rinse off.

ALWAYS use an SP15 (or higher) moisturizer. I'm 55 and it's been working.

You may not need to exfoliate as much as I do since I'm a little older and my skin is dry.

Hope that helps!

You are old enough to start using a mild exfoliating product like Alpha hydroxy or Salacidic Acid, in a daily lotion with sunscreen.

I agree with Eve, regular exfoliation with products like Alpha Hydroxy is a great way to remove the dead skin cells and smooth out your skin. I don't recommend using sugar scrubs on your face. The irregularly shaped crystals of salt and sugar can actually abrade your skin, save those scrubs for your elbows, knees and feet.

I'm still on the fence about home microdermabrasion use - I just started testing one out, will post an update after I've used it for a month or so.

You can check it out at most Macy's/Nordstrom counters (usually they will give you a free facial with it-or at the very least try it out on your hand)
I LOVE it!
