I had a cancer removed from bladder in 2000 and was fine til now and blood in urine is back. my Dr had me on Serzone and added a med Lexapro an with in two weeks I notice blood in urine, now these meds are for depression.
I am also taking asprin and Lipatore.
I am to go for a scan of kidneys and bladder this week.
any Ideas

Sorry to hear you're having problems. I still have nightmares about having noticable amounts of blood in my urine - which eventually lead to me losing a kidney to cancer. Like Allie said, aspirin is a blood thinner, and I too, have been advised to stay away from over-the-counter pain relievers due to the damage they do to kidneys... I doubt that is the case for your bladder.

I see your post was on March 21st... any word on what may be causing problems for you? I sincerely hope it's not cancer. (The reason I'm 'fishing' here is that during my last check-up (local doctor, not at the cancer center) I had a lot of blood in my urine again. My last trip to the cancer center didn't show anything on the scans other than a spot on liver - which they don't think is an issue.) I was just wondering what you found and what I might be up against. I hope to know what's going on next week.
