Ok i went to docs yesterday for first time after feeling really bad again. Was prescribed this and had first 20mg 12 hours ago before i went to sleep. I'm aware of the side effects and starting getting dry mouth and stomach ache quite soon. Had some bad pains this morning. But one thing I haven't read about is increased hair growth. Don't know if I'm being paranoid but I'm sure I have more body hair today. Anyone experienced anything like this?

okay. i don't think your hair grows that fast. could you be having anxiety from the idea of taking the meds? i was on it 8 weeks and had no hair issues. i did have stomach problems so i took it with a meal. that cured that. give it some time. God bless:angel:

yeah could well be anxiety. i'm just convinced things are different and it's growing on my upper arms and hands where i don't remember having anything before. well at least today i haven't really felt too ill. perhaps lethargic and something different so staying in bed. maybe i should actually eat something too as that will probably make feel worse if i don't.

Hi Mike

I was on Celexa back in 2001. It didn't help me at all and my psychiatrist wasn't much help either. My mother was very sick and dying and my relationship sucked. Anyway, Celexa seemed to just mask everything..I wasn't myself and I was putting on so much weight. When I brought it up to my doctor, she just kept raising it. I went from 20mg to 80mg although at that point I stopped taking it on my own and stopped seeing her.

I didn't grow any extra hair but I gained 30 lbs :(
