Squats, sumo squats, close stance squats, deadlifts, straight leg deadlifts, lunges, leg extentions, hamstring curls, calf raises etc etc. All these will make your legs bigger and give them good shape.

Another way is to play sports that are leg-heavy, such as basketball and soccer. It won't give you *huge* legs, but it'll thicken them up a bit. Try playing full-court basketball for an hour or so one day and you'll definitely notice the soreness in your calfs and quads over the next few days.
