Does anyone know of a drug company (like Novartis) which might assist people who can't afford medications? I'm on disability, and some of the medications I take are no longer covered on the insurance program I have. One of the drugs is prevacid. I've tried to look some up on the internet, but I haven't found anything. My dr. was kind enough to give me several months of samples, but I'm running out. If anyone knows of help I can get, please let me know.
Thanks,
Trish :)

Does your insurance not cover prevacid at all? My insurance wouldn't cover the capsules but they would cover the dissolvable tablets.

It reads "step therapy protocols apply" and I was told by the home office (by phone) that the medicine was no longer covered. I will talk to my pharmacist about it. I didn't even know there were different types of prevacid.
Thanks for letting me know.
