I am only 22. I was comparing a picture of me from when I was 21 and I have aged. I lost baby fat, I have deeper wrinkles, I look tired. What the hell could of happened in a year? Or is this all the anxiety and depression piling up?

did you lose alot of weight? losing weight too fast can make you look older, because your skin will sag slightly. Maybe it is all stress, and anxiety. if you're feeling that way, come to the anxiety or depression boards (if you don't already) I visit it quite alot and it's a nice place and people are willing to help :)

take care.

Well if you look at young actors like I just noticed Leo***** Dicaprio has suddenly gone from looking like a boy to being an attractive man. It just happens. But certainly if you lost weight, you'll look different....I can't imagine that you're 22 and you would look "old" by any means....Hey wait until you're in your 40s like me....I feel like as soon as I hit 40 I started showing my age more. I went from being carded to buy alcohol to not overnight.

I agree that losing weight can sometimes make you look older, especially in the face. I'm 20 years old and I'm HOPING to lose my baby fat, haha! I notice that around my eyes I look a little bit more tired than I used to in the past year or so. For me, I can tell that most of the time it is stress taking its toll on me. I deal with depression and anxiety as well and it's very stressful. I also don't get as much sleep as I should on some nights. My best advice is to drink plenty of water, wear sunscreen, try to get enough sleep, allow yourself time to relax, and wear the right makeup! I like using a shimmery eyeshadow that brighten up the eye area. I also have to wear bronzer to give my skin some color or I just look tired and blah.

Do you have Hypoglycemia?

Do you have Hypoglycemia?

ah, no.

I do have a terrible sleeping schedule. Do you think if I got on a normal schedule, that I might look younger again?

Generally, yes, having a normal sleeping pattern and sleeping for about 9 or more hours continuously every night should help your appearance.

I'm sorry you have been having sleeping issues. I hope that they resolve soon.

Yeah, my sleep has been whack lately, too, and I'm noticing more wrinkles.

Also if you're not getting enough sleep. That can pile on the years. Do you smoke? Tan a lot? Worry excessively? All those can make you look older. Try getting a lot of rest, drink a lot of water, 8 glasses of 8 oz a day or more. Relax, smile and laugh. :-)
Take care. Diane

Yeah, frowning will cause wrinkles for sure. :)
