thank you joan for ur reply.much appreciated.the fatigue is a major problem.when the acth test was carried out what other tests would have been done.three bloods were taken.would aldosterone have been checked.is crisis possible in secondary ai.i feel her dosing times are wrong and this isnt helping sleep either.morning hc at 8 evening at 6.does she need to carry injectable hc,her gps know little.word was left to carry steroid card, she does for the asthma anyway but also medic tag, surely the latter infers a crisis is possible in secondary.

I am not sure what the other blood tests were for. I know when my son was given the ACTH stim test, they took blood. They took three also, one was for the metabolic panel (including potassium, sodium, glucose, etc...), one was a thyroid panel and the other was for some growth hormone. I don't think aldosterone was checked. If it was I didn't hear the results. My son also has a shot for use in serious illness or trauma. Yes, a crisis is possible with AI. We have been adjusting my son's dosing times to get him to sleep earlier and to wake earlier.
