MIL went to oncologist today. She does not have to go through chemo!!! yeah!! He is going to do a CT in June...and keep a close eye on her. she's been home for a couple weeks now and doing great. she's 78 and she came through surgery removing upper left lobe with flying colors. She hasn't even had pain meds since she came home. the bone scan showed nothing....and nodes were all clear. her cancer is stage 1........and the tumor on her lung was fist size...............tell me prayer doesn't work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
Congrats on the good news!!! So glad to hear she's doing well...keep up that praying!

Mother in law is doing great. We're trying to get her to eat more...and get out and walk...doc says that's the only way to get her strength up....but my question is that since she had surgery, it's hard for her to swallow water and thin liquids. she gets choked up. doc says those muscles get confused some times...that's what she relayed to me......not sure what his exact terminology was. anyone have this problem after surgery? she has no problems with food or thick drinks.
