I am having alot of problems with acid reflux and nausea. I eat small meals, stay away from caffeine and carbonation, no red meats, or any spices or acid causing foods. I went to my Dr. and I'm on Prevacid now. I'll be having a EGD in 3 weeks. My Dr. thinks I have an ulcer along with everything else.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop the nausea?:( Thanks for any suggestions.--------------Laura

I had a serious bout of acid reflux last fall. After doing much research, I decided against drugs after reading several negative articles about Prilosec and Prevacid. I decided to take an all natural approach and went with a powerful Probiotic. It solved the problem including nausea but then I didn't have an Ulcer.

Laura,

My symptoms were/are the same as yours but I also have gallbladder issues and don't have an ulcer. The nausea was awful. I take prilosec for my acid reflux and they put me on Reglan for nausea. There has been a lot of discussion about Reglan with some dedicated threads either on this forum or the digestive disorder one. I have taken Reglan 10mg x4 day for about 10 days and my nausea has been completely gone for a least the last 4 days. I am not sure about side effects. I have been suffering from insomnia badly but I think that started the day before I started taking Reglan. I think my insomnia is because I have bee so stressed about other health issues. People have reported problems with Reglan but for me it had been great so far.
