Anyone have revision rhinoplasty where they were told there was alot of swelling and that it would go down over the next 3 months. I just had a revision done (my primary was done 9 years ago). This time it was open. I feel that my nose is the same size and that my nostrils are just as large. They did cut in my corners to make the nostrils smaller but do they also need time to shrink with the swelling? I'm so confused. My nose looks a little lopesided from underneath is this due to the swelling. Can anyone tell me about the recovery period? I can wait but don't know if all this is normal or if this second surgery didn't do anything to change the appearance of my nose. Also, I lost my beautiful smile, it's not the same, I know its only been 10 days since my surgery. But....will I get my smile back??
