I am hoping someone here can understand me and what I am experiencing. First I have a chronic vertigo problem from an inner ear problem. But three weeks ago after eating I felt sick to my stomach and had an attack of vertigo. I started doing a reguretation thing. I have a clear stuff come up with just a little food. I don't know if its acid or what. Anyway after I get that I feel less dizzy. The thing is now it goes on all the time and its been three weeks. Everything I eat gives me this regurgetation. I can't even go to the store because I will get a dizziness that seems to come up from the back of my neck and to my head and spinny. Then about 10 minutes later I will do this regurd thing. The only thing I have been eating is chicken, little bread, potatos. Nothing with any spice of any kind to it. My doctor thinks its my ear problem giving me the vertigo affecting my stomach but I think my stomach is bringing on vertigo. I am 51 now but in my 20 had spastic bowels and took Donnetal had no vertigo then. Am I way off base here. As soon as I can travel better I am going to see a stomach doctor just to sick feeling right now.

I also have this dizzienss problem.. like I am constantly spinning (drunk feeling) the pressure somehow feels like its coming from inside the ear, the neck area and then up to the head... and then it feels like my ear is gping to burst! I dont know if I mamaking any sense.. but I reall dontknow how to discribe it... I went to see a gp as my GI dont seem to be bothered and just keeps on giving me PPI forit.. the GP said my throat is swollen other than that my ear is fine.. but I really feel terrible.. I am constantly fighting to stay a wake even in the middle of the day... like my brain doesnt get enough oxygen.. my meory is so bad and I easily get confused... the regurgitation thing was gone though after I take the PPI... do you also get that pressur ein the head, neck area? even my eyesight is so bad... geez I am really lost what to do :dizzy:

Hi, I know I have ear problem because 20 years ago I was having vertigo, swimming in my head, and loosing my balance. From different ear test they said I had lost balance function both ears. This could come from virus, autoimmune, migraine, or ototoxic something or even genetics. They have never told me what caused it because they don't know. But for the past 12 years I haven't had the vertigo so much and have been just left with disequillibrum. But about 3 weeks ago I was having all this stomach problem and everytime I get the regurgetation I will feel spinning and when its over feel better. Our stomach is connected to the brain and the inner ear. So I have been thinking because I already have a defect in my ears maybe its aggravating that rather than my ear causing it. You can see a doctor call Otolaryangologist and get ear testing to see if they can help. I have neck and head pain to but mine comes from holding myself more ridgid in attempt to compensate for my balance. I also have migraine that much of the time centers around my neck area. Whether that is your problem or not I don't know. I hope you will try to get some testing to see what is going on with your ears. Mine is kind of an extreme case most people can get help with thier ear problems from things like Meds, phyiscal therapy, diet changes. You need to find out if its even coming from your ears as other things like hormones, thyroid can cause a dizziness. Good luck Linda
