I have! Last year I was determined to lose weight without doing any intense cardio (you can search for my old threads on the topic) and I did it. I tried to walk twice (x15 minutes) during the day on my breaks at work (2 miles total) and then I'd walk in the evening as well (anywhere from 30-60 minutes). I lost about 25 lbs between June and October (thats really all i needed to lose, i stopped losing when the weather got cold and i stopped walking). I'm planning on starting again now that its warming up to lose my final 10lbs.

Smartpants when you stopped, did you put on any weight?

nope, i remained a little active over the winter (playing badminton, boxing at work)...not enough exercise to keep losing the weight, but enough to stay where i am...ive been at the same weight since October when i stopped walking regularly...i really recommend walking because it is so do-able, not exhausting and enjoyable (for me at least)..
