I found out a partner of mine was diagnosed with HSV (not sure if its 1 or 2). I immediately went to the doc because I was having burning during urination and I found a few red spots. The blood test came back negative for everything. The doc said that they test for antibodies so it could be a false negative. I was at the doc about a year later and had more blood tests done.....negative for everything again. I havent had any major outbreaks but have thought Ive seen a few red spots (im sure I overreact alot). Is it possible that I got 2 false negative tests? even if the 2nd one was a year later? Is there any way I can be sure I dont have it.?

Yes, I Know The Clinics Use The Standard Elisha Test. Which Reads Wrong Most Of The Time

But The Herpselect Test Is The Most Accurate Next To A Western Blot Antibody Test.
You Have To Request A Herpselect Test Otherwise They Do The Standard Test That Is In Agreement With Their Lab

Theres Also A Pcr Test But That A Spinal Puncture (ouch)

Ask For Herpselect
