View Full Version : Could manipulation cause CTS?

Hey I'm ShoeMan It's my first post here.

I am a Pen spinner/Card manipulator/ Chinese/golf balls manipulator/ poker chip/coin manipulator and so on..

I also been practicing Finger Fitness it claims to help rehabilitate from carpal tunnel and other hand injuries ).

Anyway I've been doing all this for over a year, and recently started really going into it, practicing at least 3 hours a day, and sometimes go as high as 6 hours.

recently I started feeling pains in all sorts of different spots in my hands and wondered, could this kind of activity cause carpal tunnel syndrome or other type of RSI? if so, could I prevent it somehow without hurting my training?

I figure that resting every now and then could be a part of the solution.
If that is true, should I rest about 10 minutes every hour, or more often?
Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

ShoeMan.
