my doc informed me that i would be least likely to transmit hsv2 if i performed oral sex on anyone because it rarely stays in your mouth and never is present there because its a below the waist hsv type

he said its a different story with hsv1

but can i transmit hsv2 if i perform oral on someone and have no other skin contact ?
anyone ever have any expirences with that?

I'm sorry, I don't have an answer to your question, but I'm pretty sure - that HSV-2 can be either above the belt or below it. Hopefully, over21 will respond - he'll know the answer. But, I do have one question, because I don't understand, is it even possible to perform oral without skin contact? I'm NOT looking for any how-to's, but that just seems impossible to me......-Orn
