I am a 52yr old Scotsman and have been suffering from GERD/IBS for over 10 yrs.
Does anyone else get chest pains and slight breathlessness when walking fast after eating a big meal??
I have had heart tests for angina etc.. (including an angiogram) with nothing found.
My pains start almost as soon as the meal is finished - tight chest, heaviness, sharp pain behind breastbone etc.. and increase dramatically if I then start to walk, especially up steep hills.
Interestingly, I can still do 100 press-ups at this time, with no discomfort!!!
Weird, isn't it!
I have also tried Nexium and various other remedies, to no avail.
